A delightful home away from home
I had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse, where the host Caroline truly made every moment special. My room was cozy and comfortable, complete with a nice view. The breakfast featured quality items like thick bacon and fresh eggs, which set me up perfectly for the day ahead. It was also very considerate of Caroline to offer me a key to change after a wet boating trip, showing genuine care for her guests. On the downside, I did miss having an iron in my room, but that's a small detail in an otherwise fantastic experience.

i was truly disapointed with the suffocating cleanliness of my room, i mean, dusty areas! And one shower for eight rooms? absolutely absurd! I simply expected a complimentary gesture, maybe an upgrade after such inconveniences, but alas, i almost thought of a good review but just couldn’t—how awful!

charming historical building, convenient transportation options, comfortable common areas
Shared bathrooms can lead to significant wait times!!! Small bathrooms feel cramped for comfort!!! Creaky floors disturb sleep at night!!! Wi-Fi access frequently unreliable during stay!!!

I loved the cozy ambiance and the delicious breakfast options every morning. Relaxing in the peaceful garden area with lush greenery and a cozy seating nook was a highlight for me. The only downside was the stairs being a bit tricky with luggage, but I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone needing a comfy stay! 😊

great breakfast , but noisy shared bathroom
Breakfast was cooked to order with a nice variety every morning. The location is ideal, being just a short walk to shops and the harbour front. I found the bus service convenient, as the stop is right outside, making it easy to reach the airport. Many takeaways are within walking distance, offering a range of food options.
Shared bathroom facilities can get quite busy at times, especially during peak hours.
